We are gearing up for another great year
of mountain bike events. Dieselbikes has received approval for both of our
Lynn Woods events and our premiere "Bash at Attitash". This is going to be a
busy season and we are in full planning stages to make these events fun for
all riders and their families.
D-Day "The Second Drop"
~ Lynn Woods, MA
Saturday June 14, 2008 – 9:30am-5:00pm
D-Day "The Second Drop" will be a
continuation of our past 2007 D-Day Event. This event will provide the
mountain bike community a one-day experience to DEMO ride a ton of mountain
bikes from various manufactures in Lynn Woods. This event is for all riding
levels and many different bikes will be available for YOU to test ride on
singletrack. This will be a large social event for
the community, so mark your calendar bring your bike, friends and family
members. Everyone is welcomed!

"Bash at Attitash" Mountain Bike

This is great news! Attitash Management
has approved our premiere event titled "Bash at Attitash". This is a weekend
event spanning over two full days of mountain bike fun. "Bash at Attitash"
will be similar event to D-Day, however will be geared more towards the
downhill/freeride junkie. This will be another large social event for the
community, so mark your calendar and get ready for a festival packed with
fun for the whole family. We will keep you posted via the website and
monthly newsletter. More information will be posted in the coming months on
our website and through press releases.

The "Spookbikecular" Halloween Festival

Saturday October 25, 2008 – 9:30am-5:00pm
The "Spookbikecular" Halloween Festival
is a one-day event that will have something for everyone. Group rides;
costume contest and other family geared venues will provide a fun time for
all who attend. We are in the beginning phases for this event, so more
information will be posted in the coming months. This will be another large
social event for the community, so mark your calendar and get ready for a
spooky event!

2008 Lynn Woods Trail Maintenance Series

Dieselbikes is proud to announce our 2008
Lynn Woods Trail Maintenance Series. The dates are set and all of our
proposed projects have been approved. We are going to start the season
off with a huge project involving cutting a new section of trail leading
down the back side of Bow Ridge near the power lines to the newly approved
El Sweeny Trail. Below is a brief outline of these upcoming trail
maintenance days.

Pending Event: IMBA Trail Building School
~ Lynn Woods, MA
This would be a hosted trail building
school presented by IMBA. We have submitted required paperwork to IMBA for
this potential trail slated for September 2008 timeframe. At this point in
time, this trail day school is still pending. This trail school would focus
around building tips and identifying techniques to "winterizing" multi-use
trails. In conjunction, review techniques on re-opening the same
trails once winter has passed.
